On being a woman, wife, mother, memaw, etc:  As a woman who's been there & done it, sometimes I get so exhausted, I want to just take a step backwards, get out of the picture, and watch to see what's next.  Sometimes the world snatches me from side to side, backwards and forwards and I feel like I've been pulled thru a bush backwards.  However, God is in control and I know He's watching over me.

Life is full of surprises, isn't it.  I loved raising my two daughters, being a working mom, keeping a home and helping my husband.  Now with my two beautiful, teen aged granddaughters, I'm learning how to do it all over again, praying God's direction daily so I'll do a better job this time.

So, yes, I've been there & done it and now I'm still doing it.  How many grandparents are still in the "raising children" situation?  I bet a bunch.  Let's just do our best with lots of love, keeping God in the middle of it all.
